About Us
Transient Audio was started back in 2014 and was founded by Alan Campbell and Zac Mitchell. We both created the company to make the digital desk market more affordable within both the live events and installations .
I've always had a passion for live music, beginning at high school where I helped out with the school theatre show. After this I went on to college to study sound production. During my time there I opted in to work at live events out with the college, to further my experience as well as make contacts. Whilst at college, the idea behind Transient Audio was formed between Alan and myself. Over time we've thought into more and more detail around the business and launched it officially in 2014 as this was when we felt it was good enough to take to the public and start advertising our services more.
In a similar way to Zac I've had an interest in sound engineer since school with several years of shows. After this I went straight into college education at Edinburgh College studding sound production. During this time I spent a lot of time engineer gigs with and without of college which helped to develop my professional skills. I then went on to work freelance for a couple of companies which involved working at the commonwealth games in Glasgow. So after we developed the idea of making a hire company as we feel the digital market is becoming more affordable so want to pass these saving onto our customers.
